Great Sand Dunes National Park has some of the tallest sand dunes in the country, and is surrounded by scenic mountains. Go sandboarding or hiking, and enjoy photography.

Mesa Verde National Park is home to many archaeological sites. Cliff Palace, one of the cliff dwellings here, is extremely well preserved. 

In Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods offers stunning rock formations and beautiful views. You can also drive to the top of Pikes Peak.

While towns like Aspen, Vail, and Breckenridge rae famous for winter sports, you can visit them in other seasons as well, to hike, enjoy wildflower displays, or fall colors .
